Please do not proceed with your registration if you cannot agree with these terms and conditions. This policy is effective upon submission of your registration and payment. 

NO REFUNDS: all registrations and sales are final. No refunds or credits are issued.

RE-ENROLLMENT FEES: If you cannot attend the course/program for which you have registered for whatever reason (i.e., illness, scheduling conflict, etc.), then please get in touch with us at [email protected] at least 2 weeks BEFORE the start date of the course to arrange a transfer to another cohort. 

COURSE PARTICIPANTS: We cannot guarantee with whom you may or may not be in a course. If you choose to transfer cohorts due to the participants, a re-enrollment fee will apply.

PROGRAM LICENSE: By enrolling for a training course with The Equity Practice ("Training Course"), you agree to abide by the following terms of this license:

1. OWNERSHIP OF Training Course(s):

This Training Course(s) is licensed to you, not sold to you, by The Equity Practice (TEP). Title to the Training Course(s) and all of the Training Course(s) parts remain with TEP. TEP owns the copyright right for all program content within all parts of the Training Course(s) and reserves all rights worldwide.

2. PURPOSE OF LICENSE:

You may use the Training Course(s) for your specific personal, individual training provided in this License Agreement.

3. RESTRICTIONS-You may not:

A. Permit another individual to use this copyrighted Training Course(s).

B. Access the Training Course(s) from multiple computers/devices simultaneously.

C. Take and complete this Training Course(s) on behalf of another individual.

D. Sublicense the Training Course(s).

E. Reproduce, duplicate, copy, modify, rent, lend, sell, transfer, distribute, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer this Training Course(s) or any portion thereof, except as provided for in this License Agreement.

F. Broadcast, cablecast, or otherwise display the media contained within the Training Course(s) in any public performance or media without the prior written consent of TEP.

G. Transfer ownership or use of this license to another. Any attempt to transfer the license terminates your right to use the Training Course(s).

4. COPYRIGHT PROTECTION:

The Training Course(s) you are about to take is copyrighted by TEP with all rights reserved worldwide and is fully protected by the ). United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. It is authorized for individual use only. You agree to prevent unauthorized copying of the Training Course(s). The FBI investigates allegations of copyright infringement, and federal law provides severe criminal and civil penalties for those found to be in violation.

5. WARRANTY:

TEP warrants that it has the right to license you to use the Training Course(s). TEP’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be the timely correction of material content errors discovered within the Training Course(s). This warranty is good for three years from the date of purchase. This warranty shall be void if the error results from running the Training Course(s) on a computer system that does not meet the course's stated minimum system requirements (s).

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

TEP shall not be liable for any loss of use, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Training Course(s) provided by TEP to you, whether under this License Agreement or otherwise.

7. TERMINATION OF LICENSE:

This license is effective for the period beginning with course(s) enrollment and continuing as long as you abide by the license terms. TEP may terminate this license at any time if you fail to comply with any conditions of this license. In the event of termination, you will discontinue using the instructional materials provided, and no refund shall be made.

8. APPLICABLE LAWS:

This license agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, including patent, trademark, and copyright laws. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney's fees and costs in any claim arising from this license agreement. This provision shall be construed as applicable to the entire license agreement. Any claim or action must be filed within the jurisdiction of Dallas County, Texas, U.S.A.


9. PAYMENT: 

A. We require payment in full via our website to enroll in a course. 

B. For organizations booking on behalf of an employee or group of employees we may offer payment via invoice. If you would like to request payment by invoice please contact [email protected]. Please note that if paying by invoice, the Parties agree that all payments due and  shall be made through automated clearing house (“ACH”) transfers, unless otherwise agreed upon by both Parties in writing. The Equity Practice does not accept paper checks; in cases where Client is required to pay via paper check, a 20% paper check fee will be incurred by Client, and the Client must send checks by certified mail to the address provided by Consultant. The Equity Practice shall provide ACH payment details whereby, Client shall initiate the ACH transfers to Consultant in the amount required under this Agreement. 

C. Payments must be paid in full prior to the start of the training or course. 

D. The Equity Practice accepts the following payment methods; bank transfers (ACH), direct payment through online booking system.

E. You confirm and agree to use only credit cards or other payment means which you are duly and fully authorized to use, and that all payment related information that you provided and will provide in the future, to or through The Equity Practice is accurate, is current and correct and will continue to be accurate, current and correct. 

F. By enrolling, you are agreeing to be responsible for the payment of the applicable fees in full. You are responsible for ensuring any cost incurred in making such payment including but not limited to bank fees or transfer charges is paid by you and not us.

G. You agree to pay the fees for courses that you purchase, and you authorize us to charge your debit or credit card for those fees. The Equity Practice works with third party payment processing partners to offer you the most convenient payment methods in your country and to keep your payment information secure.

H. If your payment fails, we reserve the right to disable access to any course for which we have not received adequate payment. You will also be charged a $25 administration fee for each failed payment.
